Meet Dr. Mary

Dr. Mary Weber is a compassionate pediatric dentist committed to making a positive difference in the lives of her young patients. Her educational journey began at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she laid the foundation for her successful career in dentistry. She furthered her studies at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

With an unwavering commitment to pediatric dentistry, Dr. Mary embarked on a journey that led her to a fulfilling career. Since completing her pediatric residency in 2022, she has been practicing as a pediatric dentist, dedicating herself to the oral health of children and adolescents.

Dr. Mary’s initial inspiration to pursue dentistry arose from her own positive childhood dental experiences. These early encounters with the dentist instilled a deep appreciation for the profession. Her passion for health care and strong desire to make a difference solidified her determination to become a pediatric dentist.

In her own words: “I loved going to the dentist growing up, and after shadowing a pediatric dentist, I knew it was what I wanted to do.”

The heart of Dr. Mary’s approach is built on her love for working with children.

“I have always loved working with kids, whether it be coaching volleyball or spending time with my niece and nephews! Kids have such a wonderful perspective on life, and I can’t imagine doing any other job.”

Dr. Mary finds joy in the genuine enthusiasm that kids bring to their dental visits. She takes pride in helping children overcome their fears and ensuring each patient has positive experiences. She believes that nurturing oral health in children is a rewarding endeavor that fosters lifelong relationships with families.

One of the aspects that Dr. Mary values most about her profession is the frequent patient interaction. This level of engagement offers a unique opportunity for preventive care, setting her field apart from many other health care professions. She is dedicated to helping children and their families maintain good oral health and preventing dental problems through routine visits.

Dr. Mary’s favorite advancement in the field is the Hall technique, which she values for its minimally invasive approach to dental crowns, particularly for young or nervous children.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Mary and her husband, Mike, find joy in spending time with their puppy, Murphy. Their interests range from enjoying outdoor activities like pickleball to cheering for their beloved Huskers. In her downtime, Dr. Mary enjoys the art of crocheting and knitting, as well as spending time with her family. Her compassion and adaptability are vital in her daily interactions with young patients, where no two days are the same.
