As a kid-focused dental practice, we also use digital X-rays. These are much faster and more comfortable than traditional films and produce clearer images instantly. We also offer nitrous oxide as a sedation option for kids who need help relaxing during treatment.

Sedation Dentistry

At Pediatric Dental Specialists–Omaha, we can provide nitrous oxide for children with dental anxiety to help them relax during treatment. For those with special needs who are unable to complete treatment in a traditional setting, we also offer in-office general anesthesia. This is safely administered by a qualified anesthesiologist and enables your child to receive treatment stress-free. Our team will work closely with the anesthesiologist to ensure your child’s well-being throughout their visit. Additionally, our dentists are all board-certified pediatric dentists and are credentialed to perform dentistry under general anesthesia at Children’s Nebraska Hospital and the Children’s Outpatient Surgery Center.
Fluoride Varnish
